The Macedonian Outreach

The Macedonian Outreach is a Christian, charitable association founded in 1989. In 1992, it received tax-exempt United States government and State of California status as an approved association. Run by volunteers, the work is restricted to the Balkan Peninsula located in Southeastern Europe. It focuses its efforts in Albania, Bulgaria, Greece, Romania, and North Macedonia. It responds to the needs of the other Balkan countries when asked.

The Outreach’s primary purpose is to glorify God by meeting the needs of people in the Balkans through the following four interrelated goals:

(1) to send and/or provide food and clothing in order to meet the everyday physical needs of refugees, orphans, and others;
(2) to respond through emergency assistance, medical aid, and occasionally surgeries;
(3) to provide education to children and young people through sponsorship and school supplies; assist graduated high school students in further education within their own country;
(4) to provide spiritual guidance through the distribution of Bibles, Christian supplies, literature, media, and by assisting churches and Christian workers; assist any graduating high school student who wishes to take Bible courses.
